Lactose Intolerant Study (Boston MA, New York City (all 5 boroughs), Philadelphia PA, Syracuse NY, Albany NY or Hartford CT only)
Not sure why they sent this to me, as I don't live in any of the mentioned areas, but maybe some of y'all can make some $$!
Dear Participant,
Have you forgotten the great taste of fresh-from-the dairy milk? For millions of lactose intolerant sufferers, the delicious taste of milk has been muted by substitutes that taste too sweet, replaced with 'grainy' soy products or just completely eliminated from their diets.
If you had the opportunity to enjoy the real taste of milk without the unwanted side effects, wouldn't you want to give it a try?
We know that lactose intolerance is REAL: We understand the side effects it causes, that there are not good 'solutions' in the market and that some lactose intolerant consumers simply give up milk and other dairy products altogether because they are dissatisfied with the available brands.
You deserve the opportunity to experience the fresh taste of milk. We would like to invite you to participate in a program to connect lactose intolerant sufferers with a new brand of lactose free milk. Male and female participants ranging between 25-54 years old are welcome to participate. You must also reside in one of the following cities: .
During the next eight months, you will have the opportunity to sample this new product, communicate online with other lactose intolerant sufferers and experts, and share your experiences.

Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A
I just thought this was too funny not to share! I actually know a couple people who probably would dress up as a cow for a free meal... I love freebies as much as the next person, but I think I'll skip this one! lol

Mark your calendar because Friday, July 10 for Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A, where you get rewarded for dressing like a cow. I've heard that some stores are even having a "Costume Prep Party" where they are helping you make your costume. Why would you want to dress like a cow? It's fun and you get a free combo meal at Chick-fil-A when you fully dress as a cow. They've also got a cow costume kit to print plus photo contests to enter.
Last year we didn't dress like cows, but we did go thru the drive-thru for lunch that day and they gave us a big cow sticker and a coupon for a FREE Chicken Salad with the purchase of a medium Dr. Pepper. So even if you don't dress like a cow, it's still worth stopping by on Cow Appreciation Day because they might be passing out special coupons again to everyone.

Heading out Friday or Saturday
FINALLY getting ready to head home! Man, I'm a bundles of nerves! lol It's exciting, but sad (as I do have my Dad, Aunt and Grandpa here in California). I'm really nervous about that VERY long drive, over 1600 miles! Everyone, please keep us (me and nine year old son) in your thoughts and prayers!
Obviously, I probably won't be posting for a few days, but hope to be "settled in" sometime next week, so I can get back to it.
Watch out Oklahoma... here we come!!! lol
